6-week artist residency organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs of La Courneuve, at the Maison Pour Tous Césaria Evora — a lively community center that offers cultural, educational, and social the mural were developed during a couple of workshops I led with people from the community. They were invited to bring photos or objects that reminded them of the MPT — small, personal details connected to memories or stories. Based on these fragments, we sketched and explored ideas for original patterns that reflect the MPT’s convivial, multicultural, and intergenerational character. Later, I took these ideas into my sketchbook and expanded them into a colorful graphic language that shaped the design of the final piece.
